Gennet’s life has revolved around health, total wellbeing and personal growth. Often seen as a seminar junkie on subjects related to holistic wellbeing, healing, body, emotional wellbeing and resilience, she’s driven by her passion for learning and growth.
Her unique gift to others is her nurturing presence of stability and trustworthiness. Her approach to communication is open and transparent and she creates a presence of love and grace. One can be at ease to have an open and honest conversation with her.
She leads people to rediscover their true deepest passion in life and nurtures them on a holistic and transformational path of growth.
Gennet is a Certified Integrative Health Coach with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, New York, a Certified Passion Test Consultant for Business (Solopreuners and Executive Leaders), Globally Certified TRE Provider, as well as a Certified NLP Master Practitioner. She’s also a student of Dr Joe Dispenza's works in the fields of neuroscience, epigenetics, and quantum physics.

Jacq Ong (The Visionary Seagull)
Jacq’s Mission: “I inspire and empower others to (re)awaken and honour their true authentic powers, and live their Truth courageously with love, joy and peace.”
Jacq is often known for her intensity, spontaneity and her authenticity at play. She’s bold, artistic and unconventional. She creates new ideas with enthusiasm.
It’s hard not to be MOVED by Jacq because her energy is just too infectious. She enjoys the uncertainty of trying something new and often an influential leader who breaks the mold and has a knack for disrupting the status quo.
Her adventurous spirit enables her to thrive in challenging environments where she’s able to invigorate the team with her energy and passion. She presents her ideas with genuine excitement and engages listeners with emotion and enthusiasm rather than rational arguments.
Jacq’s calling, spanning over 25 years, has been in the physical education, mental skills & peak performance training, leadership development, coaching, facilitation, and personal mastery field. She continues to raise and facilitate consciousness through people-animal relationships. Joliene Chen-Gates (The Spirited Hummingbird)
Joliene’s journey to working with Sparks of Life started with a random text from an excited Jacq Ong out of the blues saying, ‘Look!!!!!! (with a link to a FB post)’. Little did they know, Spirit had greater plans in store for them. A few months later, a spanking new Sparks of Life website was born and Joliene joined the Magical Sparks team. With her analytical and creative skills, she serves as a sounding board for the two-legged founders and helps make magic happen on the back-end so that they can focus on what they do best for the SoL tribe.
Joliene is a multipotentialite with a passion for using her gifts to help empower people to discover and express themselves authentically so that the world can receive their gifts.
Outside of Sparks of Life, Joliene is a Shamanic Healing Practitioner and offers Human Design Type and Strategy readings as well. She also provides online-business consulting and squarespace web-design for spiritual entrepreneurs. She is certified in Clinical and Alchemical Hypnotherapy, Pranic Healing and Usui Reiki and often work with Allies, essential oils, flower essences, oracle cards and crystals in her healing practice.

Marvel (The Marvelicious Pretty Boy)
As the saying goes, ‘they choose you’. We believe that he was “beamed” down (like Mr Bean) at the right place at the right time to catch our attention.
Meet Marvel, our special tabby who “waited” for us in the heart of busy Orchard Road on May 30, 2017. Right in the middle of the far right lane, where the carriages of many cars passed over him.
Unharmed physically, but frozen like a statue, Marvel was introduced to Lavender, and relaxed onto the bosom of his “chosen rescuer” and human diffuser, Jacq Ong. He was named simply because Jacq was wearing her Marvel T-shirt. (Imagine if she had worn her Gremlin T-shirt instead!)
Together, he joins Avante, Spirit and Hope as all of them continue to be our guides and teachers to the world of people-animal wisdom and partners for wellness, purpose and abundance.
Marvel’s Message: Haven’t you noticed it already? Miracles and Wonder are all around!
His Super Power: Hypnotising his humans to lower their eyelids into sweet slumber unapologetically.
The Winged Angels
Avante (The Sensitive Handsome Girl)
Meet Avante, well, you’d hear her first before you saw her. She howled her way from the canal at Sunset Way, Singapore into our hearts at midnight on Mar 20, 2008.
Avante was a very sensitive being. She taught us to respect her space and authenticity as we guide others to learn to be like her; and in accepting her nature, she taught us to accept our own.
With her sensitive nature, she was drawn to those who respect her space and are comfortable in their own skin. She was the first to be by the side of anyone who cries (silently or otherwise). It was no wonder her chosen oil was Palo Santo!
Avante taught Jacq and Gennet how to support her quality of life; ensuring that she got her runs and walks, gourmet raw diet, quality water, supplements, non-toxic environment, regular emotional release and support with Young Living products and working in close partnership with her holistic vets. She joined the winged angels in July 2021.
Avante’s Message: Be responsible for your own energy.
Her Super Power: Bullsh*t detector - She was able to tap into the subtle energies of anybody in her space and have them be really honest with themselves.
Spirit (The Magical Shadow King)
May of 2012, at a riding stable in Johor-Bahru, our paths crossed with Shadow King, an ex-racehorse, who was being re-trained to be a riding horse.
In offering him the Young Living essential oils to support his overall wellbeing, Shadow King led the way in showing us that animals do have an innate ability to “choose” their own oils. He consistently chose the oil of Forgiveness.
And he opened the doors to our heart and led us into the world of people-animal wisdom and wellbeing partnership. He taught us to partner animals to connect to our own wisdom and that emotions contribute to our wellbeing.
Shadow King was adopted and renamed, Spirit. He spent his remaining days roaming free at a beautiful open space in Cameron Highlands before he transited to Spirit-form and joined the winged unicorns in May 2016.
Spirit’s Message: Dare to open and connect, fully, with your Heart.
His Angel Power: Heart-opener - You can’t help but be deeply touched just by hearing his story.
Hope (The Royal Highness Ah-Mà)
December of 2012, at a local animal shelter in Singapore, we were called to meet Hope, a Singapore special who was having a challenging time with her skin health.
Through integrative support of diet change, creating a conducive environment, regular outings and socialisation, coupled with Young Living products and other complementary modalities like Jin Shin Jyutsu, Reiki, she made wonderful progress.
Hope joined our family on Dec 19, 2015, and was the first in our family to receive her angel wings on Aug 11, 2016. Hope’s chosen oil was Rose. She’s the inspiration behind To Hope & Beyond projects.
She taught us that in order to give to others, it’s necessary for us to receive. Her teachings continue to lead us to other animals during their end-of-life stage, and support their caregivers during the challenging transition and, most importantly, in having faith in letting go.
Hope’s Message: To receive unconditionally is the greatest gift to the giver.
Her Angel Power: Her ‘golì’ (marble) eyes and goofy smile remind us that there’s always Hope amidst challenges.
